Thoughts: A Rant (Video)

Once again, I had a lot on my mind and the words just weren’t coming to me. It’s probably why I prefer to write, usually. Anyway, thanks for watching and take care of you! <3

You sound gutted, I’m sorry what was supposed to be a positive space tuned out to be a meatmarket. I don’t think you’re being old fashioned or prudish – putting drunk women on show for entertainment is awful however you dress it up.
Hope you’re feeling alright
Hugs and punk xxx
Christine: Thank you for your support and kindness. This is definitely something I will be talking about more. 🙂
Aww, I wish I could give you a hug!
An environment like that is tough, on a lot of levels. Even more so to be one of the few that know what you (we) know, and have access to the fat community & people we do. I would have been uncomfortable too.
I’ve struggled with ways to introduce people to “the good fat word” (I think that’s what you said). Sometimes, it is hard and heartbreaking to see, but just the concept of self love & body/self/fat acceptance is so “out there” for most people.
I didn’t realize exactly what I had and how much of a privilege it was, until I left California.
Nicole: *Hugs* LOVE YOU!!! Yes, I couldn’t be happier to be back home again. But it just shows how important this work is. The good fat word is so much more than just that, it’s a game changer! 😉
