HAPPIEST OF BIRTHDAYS TO YOU, M’DEAR!
Also, you may not know this, but Mr. Twistie’s band once opened for Metallica.
It was back when Metallica was just a local band and the club they were playing found themselves without an opening act at the last minute. The owner knew Mr. Twistie and his band and begged them to come open without mentioning that it was Metal Monday. Yeah, Mr. Twistie’s band is not metal. The audience was none too happy, but the guys in Metallica went out of their way to let the audience know these guys with the retro sound and smooth-voiced singer were really great people who were doing everyone a favor.
Mr. Twistie has always had a soft spot for Metallica ever since.
Now about that birthday cake I suggested the other day….
Congratulations on turning 35! I hope you had a wonderful day! I hope you got many presents you love! 🙂 I hope your future brings you everything you want, and all the things you don’t yet know to wish for! Since 35 is supposed to be when women peak sexually, I hope you soon find an amazing lover (assuming that’s what YOU want)! I hope that when you turn 70 you can assure someone who’s turning 35 that the best is truly yet to come.
