Hi there! *Waves* What is this? Who am I?

I’m a bad ass fat ass! I’m a writer and a fat activist. I fight for equality and stand up for the underdog. I am passionate and seek out the creative outlets and adventures in the world. Honesty, equality and respect matter to me most. I have found that I am my most authentic and best self when helping and supporting others. I share my life’s stories and mysteries so that others may find their own light within.

I’m forty, hot, fat, single and sassy! I am one of those people that doesn’t do things half-assed. I do tend to wear my heart on my sleeve, but I also won’t take any shit. I throw my whole self into things and generally reap the benefits of that. I have at least two songs in my head at any given moment. I have been known to communicate through song lyrics, Simpsons, and movie quotes, but I try to keep it in check. I’m hilarious, but rarely obnoxious.

On this blog you’ll find me talking about a range of topics both personal and not. I write a lot about fat acceptance, self-acceptance, self-care, my own abuse survival, fatshion, activism, events and so very much more. This blog is a process, a journey. It helps me sort out my thoughts and share my story. Through this blog, I have met good friends, made connections with fellow abuse survivors and so many badasses.

This blog is about a lot of things, but always things that mean something to me, personally. This also means that I talk a lot about fat.  Say it with me now: FAT! It’s okay, I like the word. What don’t I like? Morbidly Obese! If you’ve ever met me, well, you’d know that there’s nothing morbid about me!  Also, the diet industry? Um, no. Oh, you still think that Fat is Unhealthy? Read this!
